Mine & Wine Social Tour
Time: 8.45am - 4.00pm
Where: Departs from Adelaide Convention Centre
Cost: $150 for SD09 delegates and partners

This social tour provides delegates with the opportunity to see some of
the sites of Adelaide. The morning will be spent visiting local mines sites –
Kanmantoo and Brukunga – before stopping in to Hahndorf for lunch and
visiting some of the Adelaide Hills wineries. The tour will arrive back at the
Adelaide Convention Centre in time for the SD09 Welcome Reception.

Time: 5.30pm – 7.30pm
Where: South Australian Museum North Terrace
5 minute walk from Conference hotels

The South Australian Museum enjoys an international reputation for the size
and representation of its collections, as well as the breadth and quality of
its scientific research. The South Australian Museum offers exhibitions and
displays that reflect the museum’s extensive collections and history. Delegates
will be invited to tour the Australian Aboriginal Culture Gallery during the
welcome cocktails.

BHP Billiton Gala Dinner
Time: 7.00pm – 11.00pm
Buses depart from Adelaide Convention Centre at 6.45pm
Where: National Wine Centre, Corner of Botanic and Hackney Roads
Cost: Inclusive of Full Registration or additional tickets $150
Dress: After Five

Situated on the edge of Adelaide’s stunning Botanic Gardens it is a
combination of eye-catching architecture and smooth functionality. The
Centre provides a superb alternative to a standard venue for any event and is
an exciting venue showcasing the entire Australian wine industry.

Dinner guests will be treated to a degustation of food and matched wines by McLaren Vale winery d’Arenberg. Fourth generation Winemaker Chester Osborn is the guest speaker and he will share his insights on the Australian wine industry in a way that only he can.   

Wednesday 28 October
Ecowise Happy Hour
Time: 5.00pm – 6.30pm
Where: Hall G - Exhibition Trade, Adelaide Convention Centre
Cost: Inclusive of Full Registration and Wednesday Day Registration, additional tickets $50
Dress: Business Attire

The Ecowise Happy Hour is a long standing tradition and this year will be held at the conclusion of
the event providing delegates with a chance to unwind.
